A program that helps first time offenders to payback for their crime through alternative measures.
Alternative measures can be Community Service, personal service to the victim, restitution to make up for a victim’s loss. The offender avoids a Criminal Record, and the Victim receives restitution and participates in what alternative measures are arrived at.
Crime Prevention in the Community is also a priority through activities involving youth that provides alternatives to criminal activities.
In 2023, another level of community Justice will be available. These levels include non criminal justice services, intimate partner violence, informal mediation for child custody and visitation, intervention/direct supports for at-risk youth clients, and self-referrals for civil and family mediation, not involving criminal diversions.
